Unfortunately, this is simply not the case.Īn interim Child Arrangements Order can only be made outside that of a contested or Final Hearing if both parties consent. Many applicants as the non resident parent wrongly believe that at the first hearing, the court can impose an order for child arrangements on the other side and can move issues forward quickly and pragmatically. If you find yourself in this position, don't try to fight the system but instead to understand and work within it.
